Jon Murray, an industry veteran and seasoned member of the Indigo Road family, currently serves as General Manager for Westside neighbors O-Ku – where he joined the team in January of 2017 – and newly opened Donetto. Formerly, Murray served as the General Manager for Colletta located in Alpharetta, Ga., and Indaco, Indigo Road’s Italian concept in Charleston.
Murray first began his career with Indigo Road at O-Ku Charleston, where he soon worked his way up from server to manager. Prior to relocating to South Carolina and joining the culinary world, Murray worked in the music industry as a manager and director of artistic relations for Golden Music (UMG) in Nashville, Tenn. where he served as a liaison between bands and recording labels, radio stations, promoters, agents and sponsors. Additionally, Murray spent four years as a manager at OMG/EMI Records in Greenville, S.C. where he organized and negotiated a 90-day national tour for a popular music group.
A North Carolina native, Murray moved from his hometown of Charlotte, N.C. to Columbia, S.C. where he attended and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Sports and Entertainment Management.
